Jacqueline B. Sheppard 92, of Montgomery passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023. Jackie is survived by her daughters Wendy Hobbie and Brenda Hobbie Taylor (Steve), her granddaughter Nicci Adams (Bryan), her great grandson Liam Adams, her brother Hugh A. (Sonny) Brooks (Ann), nieces, nephews, and other family members. Jackie is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Grady and Nannie Brooks, her son Walker Brandon Hobbie, her husband Reverend Thomas J. Sheppard, her husband Reverend William B. Atkinson, and her former husband Judge Walker Hobbie.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Whitfield United Methodist Church, 2673 Fisk Road, Montgomery, Alabama, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 2:00 PM with Reverend Kathy I. Fisher and Dr. Robbins Sims officiating.
Her family would like to send a very special thanks to the staff at The Gardens of Waterford for all their love and care.
