Jackie Montez Abbott Upchurch, 83, a resident of Birmingham and formerly of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020.
For over 40 years she resided in Montgomery and attended First Assembly of God and Evangel Temple.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph “Joe” W. Upchurch. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joanna Upchurch Headley and Ricky Headley; her son and daughter-in-law, Jody Upchurch and Tammy Upchurch; four grandchildren, JP McDonald, Jr. (Chandler), Kaitlin Jones, Wesley Upchurch and Judson Upchurch.
Visitation will be held at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., with a graveside service immediately following in Alabama Heritage Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
