Hunter Glen Walters

Walters, Hunter Glen, 28, a resident of Tallassee, AL, passed away at his home on Wednesday, August 28, 2019. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 1, 2019 from 2:00PM – 3:00PM at Leak Memory Chapel. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 3:00PM with Rev. Tim Meadows and Andre Penn officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Hunter is a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Organismal Biology, Conservation and Biodiversity. Hunter had many passions in life. He loved motocross, Alabama football and playing golf. He also loved the outdoors and was an avid bird watcher. Hunter touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all that knew him. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ray Thrash; grandmother, Helen Dahl Orr; brother, Christopher C. Walters; and uncle, Glen E. Orr, Jr. Hunter is survived by his parents, Johnny and Sandra Walters; grandmother, Earline Thrash; grandfather, Glen E. Orr, Sr.; sisters, Melanie Seithalil (Jon), Holly Busler (Trenton); aunt, Cynthia Duffee (Robert); uncles, Danny Walters (Susan), Donnie Walters, Ronnie Walters; nieces, Taylor, Georgia, Alexandria; nephews, Drew, J.P., Pruitt, Trae; and numerous cousins and friends. Pallbearers will be Kendall Mason, Blane Mason, Byron Dillard, Corie Barbee, Trenton Busler, Jon Seithalil, and Drew Stroh.
