Frank Edward Puckett

PUCKETT, Mr. Frank Edward, 80, of Montgomery, Al went to meet his Lord and Savior Monday, September 26, 2011. Mr. Frank was born and raised in Banner Elk, NC. He made Montgomery his home after retiring from the USAF with 22 years of service. Mr. Frank continued his career by serving with the Veterans Administration for an additional 19 years. Mr. Frank was a loving, dedicated Christian husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was generous and kind. He was faithful to his family and to Christ and was known by his gentle spirit and warm smile. Mr. Frank leaves to celebrate his life his loving wife of 56 years, Joann Puckett, his son Darrell Puckett (Debbie Puckett) of Wetumpka, his daughters Diane Puckett Cauble, Deborah L. Puckett, Brenda Puckett Russell and Connie Lane of Montgomery; his grandchildren Melissa Puckett Morrison (Rob Morrison), Niki Puckett (Chris Gorman), Christina Cauble Parham (Jay Parham), Phillip Cauble, Breanna Puckett, Sarah Everett Russell; great grandchildren, Kyle Morrison, Marley Jade Gorman, Kendal Morrison, Lola Gorman, McKenzie Puckett and Thomas Parham; his brothers William L. Puckett (Shirley Puckett) and Chester Puckett (Jean Puckett) of Banner Elk, NC. Services will be held Friday, September 30, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Lighthouse Church, Montgomery, AL with Pastor Mickey Kirkland officiating. Burial, with military honors, will follow at 1:00 PM at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Elmore County. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday at Leak-Memory Chapel. Arrangements under the direction of Leak Memory Chapel, Montgomery, AL.
