Deborah Marie Meeks

Meeks, Deborah Marie, 64, a longtime resident of Prattville, Al went home to be with her heavenly father on June 23, 2021 with both of her daughters by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon E. Moore and Margaret M. Moore, her brother Stuart Allen Moore, and daughter Christina Marie Champion. She was survived by her daughters, Amanda Meeks Ledbetter (Brandon) and Tiffany Meeks Gradwell (Alan), 2nd brother Edward "Wayne" Moore. She was known and loved as "MeMe" to her grandchildren, Jacob "Logan" Meeks, Grayson Eli Meeks, Bryleigh Marie Ledbetter, and Landon Joseph Gradwell.

Deborah was born in Norfolk, VA on September 29, 1956. She loved growing up on the beaches of Virginia with her family. She graduated high school from First Colonial High School in Virginia. She received an Associate of Arts and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Faulkner University in Alabama. She was the well deserving recipient of Summa Cum Laude. She proudly served as a board member of her local Chamber of Commerce. She enjoyed crafting, baking, thrifting, and gardening.

Deborah was a dedicated caretaker of her parents. She was an adoring and loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed time spent with her family. Her humor, wittiness, and heart will truly be missed.
