Dan Austin Owens, 83, a resident of Pike Road, AL, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 2:00 pm at White Chapel Funeral Home with Chaplain Mark Springer officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at White Chapel. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Owens is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 61 years, Katie Formby Owens; son, Mark Steven Owens; son, Bruce Alan Owens (Carol); daughter, Julie Owens Pugh (Brad); grandchildren, David Alexander Owens, Tiffany Lei Owens, Tristan Taylor Fischetti (Paul), Austin Jarrett Pugh, and six great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
