Chuck Terry

Charles Michael Hollingsworth Terry, age 45, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023. Growing up in New York, Chuck settled in Montgomery around 2017 and worked in home improvement and remodeling. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Kenneth and Margaret Hollingsworth but survived by his mother, Heather Balfoort; his siblings, Jason (Melissa) Ahrent, Tasha (Dan) Hudson, Jei (Lyle) Hayes; and his life partners, Eddie Davis and David Dover.

Chuck enjoyed decorating, cooking and fashion with favorite colors of yellow and silver. He loved to help people. He took care of people on the street who were homeless. He would get them food, buy them underwear and socks. Chuck even bought a showerhead to hook up to an outdoor spout so that his homeless friends could shower. While he cared about those who needed help, he loved his family even more.

A celebration of life memorial service for Chuck will be held Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Bethel Northside, 1840 Van Vranken Ave., Schenectady, NY 12308.
