LANGLEY, Billy Joseph, 81, a Hope Hull resident, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017. Born January 21, 1936, in Brantley, Alabama, he was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Mamie Langley, and brothers, Roy E. Langley and Max Langley. Visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Thursday, April 6, 2017, at 1 PM, followed by a Graveside Service at 2 PM, in Greenwood Cemetery, with Rev. Gary Burton officiating. He is survived by his wife, Betty G. Langley; daughter, Kimberly J. Langley; sisters, Pat Miller of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, and Ruby McLeod of Clinton, MS. Mr. Langley served in the Alabama Air National Guard (USAF) for nine years, and worked with the State of Alabama Department of Transportation for twenty-five years as an electrician, and was a member of Pintlala Baptist Church.
