Bethany Alexis Reid

Reid, Bethany Alexis, 12, a resident of Hope Hull, AL, died Saturday, February 7, 2015. Services will be held at the Hayneville Presbyterian Church, Hayneville, AL on Wednesday, February 11, 2015. Visitation will be prior to the funeral from 1:00-2:00 P.M. with the service at 2:00 P.M. Burial services will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Montgomery, AL. Services will be officiated by Rev. Lincoln Speece.Bethany was a seventh grader at Lowndes Academy and a member of the Hayneville Presbyterian Church. Bethany, known for her sweet and quiet spirit, loved music, writing poetry, and playing the piano.Bethany was preceded in death by her grandparents, Patricia Manning, Charles Reid, Sr., and Lois Oliver. She is survived by her parents, Bruce and Leigh Ann Reid; her older sister and brother, Brittany Powers, of Prattville, and Brandon Reid; and her younger sister and brother, Brooklyn and Austin Reid. She is also survived by her grandparents Sid and Wanda Griffith of Wetumpka and Malcolm Manning of Prattville and her uncles and aunts: Shelia Allison of Muscatine, Iowa; Chip Reid (Judy), Frank Reid (Sandra), and Debbie Bush (Junior) all of Brewton, AL.Memorial contributions can be made in Bethany's name to the Hayneville Presbyterian Church, 130 Lafayette Street, Hayneville, AL 36040.
