Bertha Reagan Bell, age 91, of Hoover, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. Bertha was born September 22, 1929 in Ramer, AL. Bertha was preceded in death by her parents O. M. Reagan and Lucy Hall Reagan and by her loving husband of 40 years, Willis Vincent Bell Jr. Bertha had 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
Bertha is survived by three sons, Willis Vincent Bell III (Carol), James Raley Bell (Holly), and Robert Irvin Bell (Sharon); one daughter, Mary Jane Slaughter (Harry); eight grandsons, Christopher Vincent Bell, Peter Andrew Bell, James Gardner Bell, Grant Fitzpatrick Bell, Harrison Owen Slaughter IV, Willis Evan Slaughter, Willis John Bell, and Austin Daniel Wiggins; one granddaughter, Rebekah Lynn Bell; and nine great grandchildren.
Bertha was a faithful Christian and a lifelong member of the Church of Christ, most recently a member of Riverchase Church of Christ in Hoover, AL.
The family will have a private celebration of her life on Friday, March 19, 2021.
