Benjamin Kyle Lowery

Benjamin K. Lowery, age 35 of Prattville, Alabama passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018. Ben was born on March 18, 1983 to Mr. and Mrs. Neil K. Lowery. Ben was a graduate of Wetumpka High School. He worked for eight years in Industrial Heating and Air, during which time he obtained his associates degree from South University as a Physical Therapy Attendee and began in 2012 working in Physical Therapy at Jackson Hospital and most recently with The Veterans Administration. He enjoyed crappie fishing on Lake Martin and deer hunting in his free time but had a true heart for helping the elderly in his communities. Ben is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James W. Lowery and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Jenkins, Jr. Ben is survived by his parents, Neil and Patricia Lowery; his beloved girlfriend, Robin Kiser; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Vaughn E. Lowery; his uncle, Charles C. Jenkins, III (Delina); his aunt, Evaughn Balkcom (Ronald); his cousins, Sarah Kathryn Jenkins, Mary Beth Jenkins, Elizabeth Allison Lynn (Larry) and her children Caroline and Connor; and Stephanie Laine Southers (Michael) and their daughter Olivia Nicole Southers; and his loving pup, BamBam. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 21st from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home. A Celebration of Ben’s Life will be held on Wednesday, August 22nd at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home at 10:00 am with a visitation one hour prior. Burial will immediately follow at Alabama Heritage Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ben's memory to The Humane Society of Elmore County.
