Andrew B Schwab

SCHWAB, Andrew (Andy) Bruce 76, a longtime resident of Montgomery, AL passed away on Friday, February 24th, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Loren Henry and Mavis Easterwood Schwab. He is survived by his son, Christopher (Beth) Schwab, his brother, Jeff Schwab, his nephew, Brian (Christie) Schwab, and cousins Brittni (Chris) Cox, Loren (Brandon) Fomby and Blake Schwab.

Andy was born in Oil City, Pennsylvania on February 11th, 1947. He graduated from Lanier High School and received a bachelor’s degree in business from Troy University. He loved the Lord and was a member of Morningview Baptist Church. Andy loved being outside in nature and was an avid skier and an accomplished fisherman. He spent his young adult life as a fishing guide on beautiful Lake Martin and was proudly featured on the cover of Striper magazine in 1989. Andy loved all animals, especially his feline companions, Scamper and Bandit, who miss him dearly.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Morningview Baptist Church on Saturday March 25th at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Shawn Merithew officiating. Friends and family will be received in the fellowship hall of the church immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Montgomery Humane Society or Morningview Baptist Church.
