Shelia K. Smith, age 58 of Randolph, Alabama passed away at her home surrounded by family on Monday, March 28, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edna and Junior Brasher; son, Marty Eugene Smith.
Shelia’s surviving relatives include her loving husband of 42 years Marty Smith; daughter, Amanda Weed (Edward); sons, Dewayne Smith (Charla), Shayne Smith (Wendy); sisters, Becky Lamonica, Wanda Gothard (Mark), and Kathy Smith (Phillip); brother, Samuel Brasher (Brenda); ten grandkids, Emily, Brandy, Payton, Dillan, Daisy, Shaylee, Luke, Jay, Jesse, and Joseph.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo) from 5:30-8 p.m. Her funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Randolph at 11 a.m. She will lie-in-state one hour prior to her service with Edward Weed officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
