Lillie Marie Smith Miller, age 87, of Brierfield, Alabama, formerly of Alabaster, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. Lillie was born in Autauga County to John D. and Vera Smith. She loved knitting, gardening, cooking, and baking. She loved celebrating holidays and trips to Gulf Shores with her family. Lillie was a lifelong fan of Elvis and John Wayne.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, B.B. Johnsey; daughter-in-law, Debbie Miller, grandchildren, Gracie Noe, Cheree Gonzalez, and Steven Miller; sister, Peggie Yeager. She is survived by her children, Roger Miller, Tawanna Johnsey, Ricky Miller and Timothy Miller (Linda); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Alton Yeager; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo). Her funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo). She will be laid to rest at Pleasant Grove #2 Cemetery, Hwy 183, Maplesville, Alabama.
