Geraldine M. Lucas Gerber

She was a graduate of Montevallo High School. Geraldine was a long time member of Enon Baptist Church where she was in the choir, worked in the kitchen, helped with bible school and in the nursery for many years.

She is survived by her sister, Dianne Rutz; sister-in-law, Debbie Lucas; niece and caregiver, Cathy Kittle; 18 nieces, nephews and spouses; many great nieces and nephews; and 4 first cousins.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Gerber; parents, Gladys and Ennis Lucas; sisters, Frances Reynolds of Flint, Michigan and Martha (Toby) Hager of Midway, Georgia; brothers, Ennis Burton Lucas of Montevallo, Sonny Lucas Montevallo, Jimmy Lucas of Jemison and Jackie Lucas of Montevallo.

A visitation for Geraldine will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Enon Baptist Church, 4994 Co Rd 18, Montevallo, AL 35115. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 1:00 PM with the burial following at Enon Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Austin Sanders, Dylan Sanders, Hunter Kennemer, J. D. Kittle, Sonny Lucas, Kevin Davis, Cameron Davis, and Jack Lucas.
