Rudy Esparza Sifuentes Jr., age 75, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 2, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. Born to Rodolfo and Margarita Sifuentes on March 22, 1949, Rudy lived a life of service, dedication, and love that touched the lives of all who knew him.

A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Rudy served his country honorably from 1971 to 1975, an experience that shaped his resilience, character, and unwavering commitment to his family and community.

Rudy was the beloved husband of Ofelia, his partner and best friend of 50 years, and a devoted father to his three daughters (Ida Sifuentes, Natalia Sifuentes and Felisa Sifuentes, whose lives he enriched with his wisdom, kindness, and love. Known for his strong work ethic and warm heart, Rudy always prioritized his family, creating countless cherished memories that will endure in their hearts forever.

Rudy found joy in the simple pleasures of life: sharing stories with friends, celebrating family milestones, and embracing his faith. His presence was a source of strength and comfort, and his legacy will continue to inspire all who knew him.

A celebration of Rudy’s life will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at Funeraria Del Angel. A Funeral Mass will follow on Friday, December 20, 2024, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, after which Rudy will be laid to rest with full military honors at Resurrection Cemetery.

Rudy’s love, dedication, and generosity will remain a guiding light in the lives of his family and friends. Semper Fi.
