Good bye my dear sister, I miss you so much already and I wish I was with you,the world is now so different... I will always love you. We knew who was sincere. Don't worry anymore about cards and gifts. Your love is all We needed. Thank you for all your love.

In 1933, the year Maria Magdalena Macaya Gonzalez was born, The Golden Gate Bridge broke ground, King Kong was day-viewed and the game Monopoly was created.  Since then Maria has witnessed the world change through the feats and sacrifice of many and although she has contributed in many ways, none were as monumental to her as the family she created.  She was very proud of her children's accomplishments to include her grandchildren, and to have witnessed the birth of her great-granddaughter was no doubt monumental, providing her yet another title.
She enjoyed spiked egg-nog during the holidays, crossword puzzles, and eating at Denny's to name only a few.  She would persistently try to feed all that came to visit but I think her greatest personal pleasure would have been the slot machines!  And should she win, she would spend it on family, most often feeding them and picking up the tab.  She will be missed, and for those who hadn't met her, you missed out.  

I speak for all the family and those close to her, we love you.

Ruben please accept our condolences. Your mother was the kindest and most lovely person we knew. She is now among loved ones, especially your sweet brother Stevie. She was present from the very beginning of our many important occasions and helping make things even more special. She was a very special lady to all of us. We loved her dearly. Our prayers go out to you. May God's blessings bring you peace.

To My Beautiful Sister
We talked, we wrote to each other, we shared our concerns throughout our lives. I often told you how much I loved you and cared about you. You often laughed at what I said to you. And I always felt you were my guardian angel. I miss you more as the days go by. We both knew our time together was fast approaching an end. I wanted to take you away  We wanted to go on a memory trip. I was hoping you could visit my home. There was room to walk around inside & out. It will never happen now and that is sad. I want to thank you for being the best sister. Your caring love will never leave me. You left me with a broken heartanother hole that can never be filled by another. Thank you for the great nephew & niece. You made me an auntwhat an honor! Thank you for being a wonderful Godmother to my only son. The two of you are now togetherfree of pain and plenty of things to enjoy with God. I bet you are enjoying hearing and seeing everything again. Enjoy being happy and safe.

Be safe in the arms of Jesus, my wonderful sister. We miss you so much already, but at least your pain is done.
