Frank M. Pasko, 90 (aka "Dink") of Arcadia CA, passed away on December 29, 2014 at the residence of his friend, Don Wallace of Duarte CA. He had been staying there for three and a half months. He was diagnosed with lung cancer in September, 2014.
Frank M. Pasko and Tonnie E. McQuarry were married January 13, 1976 and lived in the same house in Arcadia CA for 37 years. They were both avid racing fans, and he was a very good shuffleboard player and always looked forward to the Saturdays they played. He enjoyed them both very much.
He was born September 6, 1924 in Coverdale, Pennsylvania, son of the late Joseph Pasko and Alvina Coates Pasko. He was a member of the U. S. Army Artillery, a World War Two veteran, and served in Europe during that war.
He retired while working for a pipe lining company that took him to several of our states and also foreign countries. He was very proud of the position he held and the work his crew did.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Tonnie on November 28, 2013, and four brothers, George (1955), John (2005), Ted, (2014), and Ray (2014) Pasko. His brothers, Ray and Ted, as well as himself, were all diagnosed with lung cancer (2014) and all passed away in 2014.
Surviving are an only sister, Dolores Pasko of Reno NV, three nephews, John C., Jr., Earl J. (Butch), Joseph, and nieces, Diane, Marilyn, Eldonna, Sharon, Debbie, Darlene, and Liz. Along with several great- and great-great nephews and nieces.
At his request there was no viewing nor services. However, his family and friends paid tribute at a graveside service.
