Jeanie (as she liked to be called) was preceded by her parents Gene Russell and Lela Russell, her siblings Laura Hanks and Barbara Kent and her children Anthony Legg and Jackie Mulbright. She was survived by her siblings Carol Comnick, Paula Williams, and Rod Tallman.
Jeanie was born in Tacoma St Joseph Hospital and lived in Spanaway then moved to Seattle with her family and lived on Queen Anne Hill where she attended Queen Anne High School and completed her education at Knapps Business College. One of her earliest ambitions was to work at Disney developing characters. Jeanie was a very talented artist. She knitted, crocheted, painted and later took up coloring with colored pencils and she loved to work jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, and word puzzles.
She married Robert Legg and had their children, and Sherry Johnson, Jackie Mulbright, Tammy Gonzales, John Legg and Laura Austin. They lived in Stanwood and Jeanie worked in the cannery there. She was a wife, a loving mother, homemaker and friend. She will be remembered as a dear mother, wonderful sister and true friend and her shining light and presence will be truly missed.
