Janice Ann Gerhardt Schlumbaum, of Snohomish, departed this life on December 13, 2024 at home surrounded by family. Janice was born June 27, 1934 in Sanger, CA. She graduated from Everett High School. She had lived in Snohomish for 61 years and was a member of Golden Campers and Peace Lutheran Church in Monroe. Janice is survived by her daughter Susan Kaikala (and husband Lawrence) of Snohomish, sons Douglas Gerhardt of Snohomish and Gerald Gerhardt (and wife Carol) of Utah, 4 step-children, 9 grandchildren, 16 step-grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 29 step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Milton Gerhardt in 2006 and husband Donald Schlumbaum in 2016. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024 from 12-4PM at Purdy & Kerr with Dawson Funeral Home in Monroe. A celebration of Janice’s life will be held next summer. Memorial donations in her name may be made to Zion Lutheran School.
