Sharon Stephens Deese, 62, of Wadesboro, North Carolina passed away peacefully at home on October 21, 2023. Sharon was one of a kind – she could light up a room, had a great sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. She was also a strong woman, a true fighter although sometimes hard headed. Sharon was known for her banana pudding (but not those made with plastic cookies!!) Most of all, Sharon loved her family dearly and will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Clayton Eugene Stephens Sr. and Shirley Meadows; brother, Clayton Eugene Stephens Jr., and sisters, Brenda Deese and Debbie Sikes. She is survived by her two children, Amy Crump (Christopher McGowan) and J.R. (Jeff) Deese; grandchildren, Chase Wolfe, Matthew McGowan, Dakota McGowan, Isaiah Wolfe, Jayson McGowan and Hayleigh Wolfe and her siblings, Susie (Dallas) Martin, Robert Gibson and Johnny Stephens.
