John Lloyd Aldridge, age 71, of Marshville, went home to be with the Lord on January 15, 2021 at home.
He was born on January 2, 1950, son of the late Brady and Lula Mae Aldridge. Lloyd was preceded by his sister, Shirley Wallace; his brothers, Lewis Aldridge and Billy Aldridge.
He is survived by his son, Kent Aldridge (Carrie); grandchildren, Madeline Pennington and Jacob Aldridge; his great-granddaughter, Hazel Pennington; his sisters, Doris Miller, Bonnie Mangum and Martha Musselwhite; and by his brothers, Ronnie Aldridge and Floyd Aldridge.
An outdoor service to celebrate the life of Mr. Aldridge will be held at 2:00pm Friday, January 29, 2021 at Mountain Springs Baptist Church in Monroe, NC. The family has requested for attendees of the service to wear masks and to practice social distancing.
