Delano Carl Trull

He proudly served in the United States Army and later worked for the US Postal service for 37 years. He was a faithful member of Mill Grove United Methodist Church of Indian Trail where he served faithfully in various ministries of the church. He was also involved in various civic organizations in his community and loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Carl and Lula Pearl Stegall Trull; brothers; Kenneth Trull, Harris Trull, Homer Trull, and Maurice Trull; and sister, Gladys Hinson. He is survived by the love of his life (babe) of 61 years, Linda Adcock Trull; his sons, Rodney Trull and Mark Trull and his wife Joanne; grandchildren, Matthew Trull, Cody Trull, Zachary Trull, and Nick Mason; great-grandchildren, Jameson Pelland, Landon Pelland, Madilynne Trull, and soon to be Dean Michael; as well as numerous nieces and nephews along with friends and church family.

There will be a visitation at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe on Monday, September 26, 2022 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Mill Grove United Methodist Church located at 7311 Mill Grove Road, Indian Trail, NC with burial following immediately after in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mill Grove United Methodist Church. McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe is honored to serve the family of Mr. Delano Carl Trull.
