Mr. Cecil Pylant, 74, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from his residence. Mr. Pylant was born June 24, 1941 in Columbia S.C., son of the late Clinton and Patricia Bass Pylant. He was a retired mechanical supervisor.
Visitation will be Friday, April 15, 2016 from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Love Baptist Church, with services to Celebrate his life beginning at 3:00 P.M. in the church sanctuary with his pastor Reverend Don Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife: Mrs. Rachel Polk Pylant of the home, Daughters: Robin Byrum Hogan (Randy), Rita Pylant Little (Gary), Tabitha Pylant Felker (Kevin) all of Monroe, Tammy Pylant Jolly of Wingate, Sons: Jeff Byrum (Doris) of Monroe, Franklin Byrum (Melinda) of Paluski, Va., Neal Pylant (Carol) of Bakersville N.C., 16 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren.
