He served as a Marine in the United States Marine Corp. and was heavily influenced by his time in JROTC in high school. He loved fishing, being outdoors, spending time at the beach and mountains, playing video games, looking at hot rods (Chevy Chevelle), flexing in the mirror, and helping people. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his family whom he loved very much.
He is preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Vertie Stegall; uncle, Carl Melton; and great-uncle, Roger Rape. He is survived by his loving parents, David and Cheryl Guion; his sister, Reagan Guion; grandparents, Richard and Cathy McMahan and Patricia Rorie and Carl Guion along with lots of extended family.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe, NC. A service to celebrate his life will be held following the visitation at 7:00 pm in the McEwen Colonial Chapel. McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe is honored to serve the family of Brandan Lee Guion.
