Born in Bridgeport, CT, he was the son of Alice Ann Neville and Richard John Nash. In his youth was a member of the Monroe Volunteer Fire Department. He was a longtime electrician for Lincoln Amusements. He spent his summers setting up rides, running games, and enjoying the carnival atmosphere.
He will be remembered for his signature black cowboy hat, his love of Star Wars, NCIS, graphic t-shirts, and Zois’ pizza in Seymour. He was a fan of Jeff Dunham and loved to quote his comedy routines. He had 2 late pugs, Baby and Belle, who he adored.
He is survived by his 3 daughters and his bonus son, Heather (Jon) of Monroe, NC, Savannah (Mikey) of Seymour, CT, Shelby (Ross), of Crystal River, FL., and Shaun (Kristin) of Monroe, NC. He leaves behind two beautiful granddaughters, Riley and Daphne, 5 grandpuppies, and a grandcat. He is also survived by his brothers, Robert (Denise) and Michael (Jennifer) as well as his Aunts, Joan, Lucille, and Helen, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his grandparents, and 2 grandpuppies.
Family and friends may join the Nash girls in celebration of his life on Friday, September 20, 2024 from 10 AM - 1 PM at Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home located at 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT 06468. Please wear your jeans and black/graphic/funny t-shirts in Cowboy's honor.
