Lucille E Kachele

Our Beautiful and Very Special Sister, Aunt and Great Friend, Lucille “Lucy” Elizabeth Kachele, 63, of Monroe passed away on March 26, 2016. Born on October 12, 1952 to the late Andrew M. Kachele and Elizabeth J.R. Kachele, Lucy was a graduate of Joel Barlow High School and worked as a driver for Toth Transportation.

She is survived by her sisters Jeanette Benson of Monroe, Muriel Haines and her husband Joseph of Trumbull and her brother, Andrew and his wife Karen of Easton. Lucy cherished her many nieces and nephews including Carla Codespoti and her husband Joseph, David Benson, Joseph Haines and his wife Tina, Laura Griffiths and her husband Gary, Clayton Kachele and his wife Jaclyn and Fredrick Kachele and his wife Lindsay. She adored her many Great Nieces and Nephews located all across the country. She was pre-deceased by her niece Joanne Benson and her brother-in-law Carl Benson.

A longtime resident of Easton, Lucy was a very happy, witty, funny, caring and full of life person who would befriend all she came in contact with and will truly be missed. Her Love for God, family, friends, horses and especially her dear bearded dragon ”Lenny” made her life so special to all who loved and knew her. Among her passions in life were to play cards, any kind of game or just spend time with family and friends.

The Family would like to thank the staff of St. Vincent’s Medical Center and her many doctors and nurses for the excellent care received over the last week and for many years prior to her passing.

There will be no calling hours in accordance with her wishes. A Memorial talk will take place on April 2nd, 2016 at 10am at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 211 Spring Hill Road in Trumbull. The Family asks that you honor her memory by loving and living life in a way always demonstrated by her love for us.
