Louis Trombetta

Born in Italy on March 13, 1941, he was the son of the late Michael and Teresa Boccagna Trombetta and had been a long time resident of Monroe.

Louis was the owner of L&M Construction where he was a skilled builder and craftsman in many trades. Louis enjoyed gardening, traveling, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was a member of the Circlo Sportivo Italian Club for many years. He was a devoted family man who always supported his family and friends.

In addition to his wife of 63 years he is survived by his daughters Theresa Finelli and JoAnn Volturno and her fiancé Gary. He was predeceased by his son Michael. He also leaves his grandchildren who brought him so much joy, Thomas, Nicholas, Daniel, David, Michael and Gina. Louis also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. Louis was predeceased by his sisters Emilia, Carmela and Rosa and brother Domenick.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 1 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Jude Church, 707 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe with interment following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Family and friends may visit Sunday, July 31st from 4-7 p.m. at the Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe.
