JoAnn Toth

On October 10th, 2013, heavens gates opened for our loving angel, JoAnn Toth, age 64 of Monroe, Ct. She left this earth peacefully at Bridgeport Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones to be in the comfort of the Lord, as he promises us. She was born on October 2nd, 1949 In Bridgeport, Ct, the daughter of the late Joseph and Anne Oppedisano. JoAnn adored children and created her business, 'Small Smiles Child Care', because her passion was to care for them every day. She loved gardening, nature, butterflies, flowers, cooking/baking and going to church.

She is survived by the love of her life William E Brice of Monroe, Ct.

She was the proud mother of her children, Michael J Toth of Arizona and Gina- Lynn Brice of Monroe, Ct. She is survived by her siblings, Gary Oppedisano and his wife Linda, Kenneth Oppedisano and his wife Bridget and David Oppedisano and his wife Elena. She is the cherished aunt to Gary Oppedisano Jr, Paul Oppedisano, Danielle Oppedisano and Rebecca Oppedisano. She will also be greatly missed by our kitten, Giavanna. Her loving and giving heart will live on with us forever.

Family and friends are invited to call Monday, October 14, 2013 from 4pm-8pm at Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Tpke, Monroe, Ct 06468. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 15th, 2013, at 1pm at New Life Church, 28 Hedgehog Rd in Trumbull, Ct 06611. Interment will follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Monroe.
