Zara was welcomed to this world at 9:51 a.m. on Friday, December 13, 2024 at USA’s Children’s & Women’s Hospital in Mobile, Alabama. She was the prettiest little girl with the most inquisitive look and the most beautiful head of hair.
After just a few hours at home after being discharged on Monday, December 16th, she was rushed to USA’s Children’s & Women’s Emergency Department then transferred to their NICU where a postnatal diagnosis of a congenital heart defect brought her parents’ world to a screeching halt. Zara was transferred to a different facility where she had three major operations over the course of the next week---all which proved to be unsuccessful. While nestled in her mother’s arms, Zara’s spirit entered heaven in the early morning hours of Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Children’s of Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama.
Zara is preceded in death by her paternal great grandparents, Georgia & David Cashill; maternal great grandparents, Walter James Ambrose, Mary Richards Whitsett, and Preston Whitsett; aunt Sharon Ambrose; and cousin Miracle Day.
