Ruth H. Gordon, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on July 13, 1926. Ruth was a resident of Grand Bay, Alabama. She died on November 1, 2023 at the age of 97.

Ruth was a retired registered nurse and a member of First Baptist Tillman Corner Church. She loved singing in the adult choir and with the Amazing Greys choir. She was also, a member of the Mobile Orchard Society.

She is survived by sons, Fred Gordon, Gary Gordon and daughter Cathy Cutts Turner and her husband, John; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; two nieces, five nephews and many loving friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Tillman Corner, 5660 Three Notch Road, Mobile, Alabama 36619.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mildred Hipwell; sisters, Jane Case and Betty Small; her loving husband, Milton B. Gordon; son-in-law, John E. Cutts, Jr; daughter-in-law, Lynn Gordon, and grandson Daniel Walker Cutts. She is survived by sons, Fred Gordon, Gary Gordon and daughter Cathy Cutts Turner and her husband, John; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; two nieces, five nephews and many loving friends.
