Ruby Nell Autrey Hawkins

RUBY NELL AUTREY HAWKINS, a native of Crawfordville, GA and longtime resident of Chickasaw, AL, died Wednesday. She was a dietary cook at USA Medical Center for many years. She was preceded in death by her soul mate, Ashton H. Hawkins, and her parents, Willard Belton Autrey and Nannie Kate Turner Autrey. She is survived by her children, Curtis (Nina) Hawkins, Patricia Hawkins (Al – deceased) Bedwell and Tracy Hawkins (Gary) Durfee; five sisters; four brothers; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Our loving mother will be greatly missed, but will live on forever in our memories and in our hearts. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Friday evening, May 16, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
