Robert Ryan Cox, age 48, resident of Destin, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 2, 2021. He is preceded in death by his son, Matthew, father, Robert Cox, grandparents, Frank and Barbara Moore and Earl and Margaret Cox.
Ryan was employed as General Manager of Bass Pro Shop. He was an avid reader, loved the beach, especially paddle boarding, was a great cook and enjoyed Alabama Football. He was also an Honorary Commander of the 33rd Fighter Wing, a strong advocate for Autism and Mental Health and very proud of his Scottish heritage.
Ryan is survived by his loving mother, Shari Cox, children, Zachary Ryan Cox (Jade) and Emma Grace Cox. He is also survived by his loving girlfriend, Kelli Giannios and her children, whom he loved dearly, Caige Hefner, Yanni Giannios and Cam Giannios. He also leaves behind many friends and relatives who will miss him greatly.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Sunday, July 11, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
