Mr. Michael Aloysius Downing – a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, died Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the family residence. He was preceded in death by his father, Owen J. Downing; one sister, Sheila Maurine Downing; and one brother, Joseph P. Downing. He is survived by two sons, William Spencer Downing and Robert Owen Downing; his mother, Shirley Worrall Downing; his brothers and sisters, Casey Thomas (Janet) Downing, Jerry Francis (Pamela) Downing, Luis Ros (Jannette) Downing, Cassandra (James R.) Kilpatrick, Barbara (William) Evatt, Martha Louise Downing, and Brenda Downing Adams; a dear friend, Shelley White; nieces, nephews and other relatives. The family will receive friends from 4 P.M. until 7 P.M. on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street, with the Rosary at 4:30 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 A.M. on Monday, December 17, 2012 from St. Pius X Catholic Church.
