Mrs. Joy Ann Tobler Russ, 89, was born April 21, 1930, in Mobile, Alabama to the late Charles Joseph and Mary Roselyn Midgett Tobler. She was called from this Heavenly home October 3, 2019 surrounded by her loving family, in the comfort of her home here in Mobile, Alabama. Joy would spend time in her garden and was an avid bird watcher. She loved to sew and care for her family. Joy will be missed greatly by all who knew her.
Her parents and one sister, Rose Marie Tobler Clothier, preceded Joy in death.
Joy leaves to cherish her beautiful memories her beloved husband of 57 years, John Edmund “Ned” Russ, one nephew, Robert Clothier, Jr., along with extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
Graveside services will take place on the grounds of Pine Crest Cemetery, 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, Alabama at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 8, 2019.
