John Robert Lee Jr.

April 3rd 1946 – November 7th 2015

John passed away suddenly on Sat. Nov. 7th while visiting with old friends, from Tennessee, in Pass Christian, Ms.. John has been preceded in death by: his father, John Robert Lee, Sr. in 1986 and his mother, Janet R. (Ramsay)Lee just last month. Survivors include: Patty Jones Lee, wife of 25 years, daughter Georgia Ann Briggs (Brian), brothers David Michael (Lynn Meltesen) Lee, Jerome Edward (Patty Seguin) Lee, and Thomas Francis (Maureen McGartland) Lee, nieces and nephews.

John had attended St. Catherine’s Catholic School. Mc Gill and graduated from Murphy High and later served in the Alabama National Guard. John was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church.

“Rufus” was the proprietor of Lee Automotive for over 30 years and had a passion for working on motors and Harley’s. His favorite pastimes were drag racing, concerts and Mardi Gras, with his wife Patty and Jaime his “grand” niece.

“Rufus” had friends wherever he went all his life and stayed in touch with most, he will be missed greatly by many.

Services will be held Friday the 13th at Little Flower Catholic Church with visitation from 10 a.m. till 11 a.m. with services following, burial will be at Pine Crest Cemetary.
