John Willis Kane

Mr. John Willis Kane, age 92, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2016. He is preceded in death by his wife, Irma Marie Judge Kane. Mr. Kane served his country honorably in the United States Army and was a member of the last Honor Flight. He was a graduate of Murphy High School and Auburn University. He retired after 32 years of service as Vice-President of Personnel Management with Coca Cola Mobile. He was a longtime member of Little Flower Catholic Church, a member of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick and was a 3rd degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Kane is survived by his children; Cindy Barton (Gary), Jimmy Kane (Linda), John Kane, Jr. (Kim) and Brian Patrick Kane (Dana). He is also survived by sisters, May McKenzie, Pat Little, grandchildren; Ryan Kane, Jonathan Kane, Matt Kane, McKenzie Kane, Shawyn Kane, Brian Kane, great-grandchildren, Donald Rossell Rosson, Mabel Kane, Leo Kane, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, other family and friends. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with Rosary at 5:30. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Little Flower Catholic Church on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 11:00. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Mr. Kane’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Little Flower Catholic Church or charity of your choice.
