James Paul Hedgepeth

James Paul Hedgepeth, age 91, of Mobile, AL, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020. Paul was born in Lawrence County, MS on July 1, 1929. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Elmer and Hattie Lee Hedgepeth, his first wife, Betty June Hedgepeth and second wife, Vivian Gillis Hedgepeth.

Paul was a devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He served as Minister of Music and Youth Minister at several churches in and around Mobile over the course of his life. His faithful service and love for others is evidenced in the lives of the many he inspired.

Mr. Hedgepeth is survived by his children, Sandi Hedgepeth Herring, Kay (Sara) Hedgepeth, and Art Hedgepeth. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Jeremy (Jamie) Morgan, Jillian (Tamica) Anderson, Garrett (Jimi) Brown, Ethan Hedgepeth and great-grandchildren; Reese Morgan, Briley Morgan, Josiah Brown and Jonah Brown.

Private family funeral services will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Friday, December 11, 2020. The services will be live streamed on the Radney Funeral Home Mobile Facebook page beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
