Helen Sue Welsh, 79, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018, in Mobile, Alabama. She was born on June 17, 1939 to Allen John and Margrett May Trahan in Birmingham, Alabama. Helen is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of 49 years, William E. Welsh, Sr.

Helen was a long time employee of First National Bank, as well as World Omni Bank in finance.

She is survived by her son William E. Welsh, Jr. and his wife Brandy; and grandchildren, Brittney Welsh, Ashley Welsh, and Brandon Welsh.

A private graveside service will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens at a later date.
