Harry Daniel Fowler, Sr.

He was a wonderful husband to his late wife Margaret Ann Fowler and excellent father to his son Harry Daniel Fowler Jr. (Yvonne), and step children Marsha Hunter Tillman (Jimmy), late Billy Gene Hunter and Michael Thomas Hunter. He had many grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was the son of late Morgan Gilder Fowler and late Augusta Barbara Fowler. His siblings were late Morgan Gilder Fowler Jr., Harriet Fowler Durrick, and Howard Douglas Fowler.

He retired from the Mobile Gas Company after 40 years and then became a loyal and devoted employee at S&B Machine for 10 years. He was a member of Covenant Church of Mobile. His love for Alabama football was unmatched. He played football for McGill Toolen during high school where some would say he was the best there ever was. He cared about his family with great passion. He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Ann Fowler.

A visitation for Harry will be held Saturday, June 27, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home, 1939 Dauphin island Pkwy, Mobile, Alabama 36605. A celebration of life will occur Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery West, 1599 Snow Rd S, Mobile, Alabama 36695.
