Grace Louise Ray York

Grace Louise Ray York – a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, passed away August 25, 2010. She was 91 years old. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and a founding member of the Cain’s Merry Widows Mardi Gras Association. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Victor York, and a grandson, Dominick Victor Yannuzzi. She is survived by her three children, Vicky York Yannuzzi of San Antonio, TX, Ronald Anthony York of Atlanta, GA, and Terry Gerard York (Berniece) of Mobile; 10 grandchildren, Victor Yannuzzi (Tamra) and Lauren Ramirez (Ronald) of San Antonio, Ronald York (Katie), Anna Pueschel (Ed), and Emily Sieradzki (Ray) of Atlanta, Victoria Grace York, Terry Gerard York, II, and Christine Marie York of Mobile; eight great-grandchildren; devoted friends, Buddy and Sandy Lowell; and numerous dear friends and family. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Catholic Church on Saturday, August 28, 2010, at 10 a.m. with Reverend Eamon Miley serving as celebrant of the mass. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Friday, August 27, from 6-8 p.m. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
