George B. Payne

George was a retired Navy Veteran of 25 years. He was a retiree of Transportation in Mobile County School System after 15 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Bert H. and Eugenia C. Wolfe Payne and a sister, Golda Jean Payne Henry.

Surviving is his loving and devoted wife, Anita Faye White Payne; sons, George Bert (Kimberly Dean) Payne, Jr, and Christopher David (Carman Rivas) Payne; granddaughter, Natalie Jean Payne (Josh) Southerland; grandsons, Zackary Pete and James Derek Payne; great grandchildren, Raymond Gage Southerland, Beau Tyler Southerland, Hunter James Payne and Maverick Rebel Payne; brother- in-law, Thomas P. (Cathy Sawyer) White and a sister – in – law, Ann White Brun, also, survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. service time at Radney Funeral Home – Mobile. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of Radney Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Spanish Fort, AL.
