Frank Allen Brown

Frank Allen Brown- Born Dec. 13, 1938 in New Orleans, LA. , passed away April 30, 2017. He is preceded in death by his mother, Alice Brown Merritt. Survivors include his wife Beverly Jean Brown, stepson James Williams (Kelly Smith), 2 sisters Alice Ann Loyd (James), Martha Waters and the late Winston Waters, 5 nieces and nephews: James E. Loyd, Martha Ann Kirchmeire, Matthew S. Loyd, Charles Waters, and Ann Waters. 2 granddaughters: Jennifer W. Eggers (Daniel) and Jamie Williams Britt (Danny), Four great grandchildren.

Frank has lived in Mobile since 1939. Graduated from Murphy High School in 1957, attended Alabama Polytechnic Institute (Auburn University) and graduated from the University of South Alabama in 1973 with degrees in Economics and Business Finance. Past President of University of South Alabama Alumni Association. He serves in the US Army Security Agency in the Pamana Canal Zone and earned the rank of Sergeant E-5 and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, was an excellent marksman and received a letter of Commendation.

Visitation for Mr. Brown will be held Friday, May 5, 2017 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway, with a Memorial Service to follow in the chapel.
