Elaine Kennedy Jones

Elaine Kennedy Jones – a 77 year-old resident of Mobile passed away at her home on Thursday, January 20, 2022. Mrs. Jones was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother as well as a great friend. She was one of a kind and you always knew where she stood.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil Ray Kennedy and Annie Jo Cook Kennedy, and husband, Joseph Russell Jones, III. Mrs. Jones is survived by her children, Kendal Jempson (Dennis), Joseph Russell Jones, IV (Stephanie), and Amanda Jones (Matthew Conger); grandchildren, J. Brooks McDonald, Rylan P. McDonald, Joseph Russell Jones, V, Michael Jones, Peyton Jones, and Sam Jempson; many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, from 12:30 p.m. until the 2:30 graveside service in Pine Crest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Condolences may be offered at www.pinecrestfuneralhome.com.
