Christopher Steele Dow

Our son, Christopher Steele Dow, born July 6, 1981, passed into everlasting peace on Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Steele loved to read and was a master of verbal expression. He enjoyed music of a wide variety of genres. He found happiness in nature, especially swimming in the waters of the Gulf of Mexico and hiking in the mountains of Tennessee and California. Steele was a precious person. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Louie B. Busby. He is survived by his parents, Michael Craig Dow and Patsy Sue Busby Dow; his brother, Michael Shawn (Tara) Dow; his sister, Anna Lynn Dow (Reavis Sutphin-Gray); his paternal grandmother, Ouida Francis Dow; his maternal grandmother, Betty Jean Busby; his aunts, Linda (Don) Parker and Ann (Don) Thompson; his uncle, James “Jim” Busby; nephew, Michael Benjamin Dow; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Spring Hill Presbyterian Church in the Fellowship Hall Monday, July 28, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
