July 23, 2023, Carol M Riddick, 84, of Mobile, AL, passed away peacefully at home after a bout with leukemia. The days leading up to her death she was surrounded by family and friends.
Carol was born in Dallas, TX and finessed her singing skill by attending Interlochen Music Center, studying opera, she also attended Southern Methodist University and completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at University of South Alabama College of Arts and Sciences in 2001, where she was granted membership in the Golden Key National Honor Society. Carol was a talented artist working across mediums of pottery, painting, and sculpture as well as continuing her love of music by singing in the church choir at Episcopal Church of the Redeemer.
Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband LeRoy Riddick and is survived by her three children Lynn Waggoner, Henry (Thashia) Waggoner, Daniel (Karen) Waggoner and 5 amazing grandchildren, Carley, Patrick, Olivia, Nicholas, and Elizabeth.
Carol’s smile could light up a room and she will be deeply missed.
