Betty Jean McAdams Miller – an 83 year-old lifelong resident of Mobile passed away at her home on Thursday, September 6, 2012. She was a longtime floral designer and retired from the the Baptist Children’s Home after 10 years of service as a house parent. She was a member of Sage Avenue Baptist Church for many years and will be remembered as a wonderful caregiver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. McAdams, and son, Jamie W. McAdams. Mrs. Miller is survived by her children, James N. McAdams, Sr., Deborah Gibbs (Larry), and Bobby McAdams; sister, Pat Hale (Ed); 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Monday, September 10, 2012.
