Betty Lambert Hildreth

Betty Lambert Hildreth -- 77, a native of Mobile, AL passed away on Friday, September 2, 2011. She was born on January 4, 1934, to the late Andrew and Sudie May Lambert. She graduated from Murphy High School and was employed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aulston David Hildreth. Betty's greatest love and accomplishment was her children and their families. She is survived by her three sons and their spouses: Aulston Hildreth and (Jane Taylor) of Mobile, AL; Ronnie Hildreth and (Paige Barber) of Kennesaw, GA; Brad Hildreth and (Lynn Sari) of Wilmington, NC. She is survived by her nine grandchildren: Aulston Hildreth, Jr., Rebekah Hildreth (Steven) Woods, James Hildreth all of Mobile, AL, Rachel Hildreth and David Hildreth of Kennesaw, GA; Anna Hildreth, Max Hildreth, Ellie Hildreth, and Kathryn Hildreth all of Wilmington, NC. In addition, she is survived by two great grandchildren: Roman Woods and Aulston "Tripp" Hildreth, III of Mobile, AL. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 6, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Visitation will be Monday, September 5, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
