Betty Southall Blakeney, age 91, of Mobile, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017. She is survived by her son, Harvey N. Blakeney, Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Southall and Irma Steber Southall; her husband, Harvey N. Blakeney, Sr.; a brother, Joseph Southall, Jr.; and two sisters, Myrtle Wallace and Inez Flinn. Mrs. Blakeney was lifelong resident of Mobile and a graduate of Murphy High school Class of 1944. She was also a member of Grace Bible Church. Visitation will be Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Mobile. The funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery. Rev. Sid Phillips, III and Rev. Jim Wilson will officiate.
