Benny Earl Newberry

He is preceded in death by his mother Elma Newberry, his father A.R. Newberry, his sister Idanette Walters, and his brother Rudolph Newberry. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Janie McMillan Newberry, four daughters Jennifer Newberry, Beverly (Richard) Flowers, Julia (Wayne) Malone and Mary Jo (Brian) Breland, ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives.

Mr. Newberry served his country in the National Guard. He retired as a supervisor for Scott Paper Company. He was a member of Crawford Baptist church where he faithfully taught God’s word in Bible Study. He also served his Lord in many other capacities.

Home going services will be Tuesday January 22, 2019 at Crawford Baptist church. Visitation will be from 10:00 to noon with services following. Interment will be at Pine Crest Cemetery on D.I.P.
